Building Bonds Through Training
Canine Training: Obedience & Enrichment
Our canine training program is designed to do more than just teach your dog to listen—it builds a strong foundation of obedience while keeping your dog mentally engaged and emotionally fulfilled. By blending traditional obedience training with fun, enriching activities, we help dogs become well-mannered, confident, and happy companions.
Services

Basic Obedience
My training focuses on practical skills such as sit, stay, come, heel, and leash manners, as well as impulse control and polite behavior in real-world environments. Using positive, proven methods, we tailor each session to fit your dog’s personality, energy level, and learning pace.
We work with all breeds and ages, from rambunctious puppies to adult dogs who need a refresher. The goal is not just to teach commands but to create a strong, respectful partnership that lasts a lifetime.

Puppy Training
I focus on essential skills like potty training, crate training, basic commands (sit, stay, come, leash walking), socialization, and proper manners around people and other animals. I can also help with training to prevent common problem behaviors such as biting, jumping, and chewing.
Each session is tailored to your puppy’s age, temperament, and learning style, making the experience both fun and effective. We also work closely with owners to build confidence, teach consistency, and answer common puppy-raising questions.

Providing Enrichment Ideas, and Recipes
This helps keep your dog mentally and physically stimulated. These activities help reduce boredom, prevent unwanted behaviors, and strengthen your bond:

Instructions on Tricks and Games
Teaching your dog tricks and engaging them in enrichment games is more than just fun—it’s a powerful way to build confidence, strengthen your bond, and provide essential mental stimulation.
Whether you're working with a young puppy or an adult dog, every trick or game is an opportunity for your dog to learn, succeed, and feel more connected to you.

About Me
Why Choose Me as Your Dog Trainer?
Hello, my name is Tanya and for the past 15 years, I’ve been personally training and occasionally competing when I have had time with my dogs in various sports. My true passion is in helping dogs thrive and build better relationships with their owners. I currently participate in a variety of dog sports with my dogs, including Fast CAT, Rally, Hide-n-Seek, Nose Work, and NASDA (North American Sport Dog Association) events such as shed hunting and locating.
I am currently enrolled in the internationally respected Training Without Conflict® Professional Course, developed by world-renowned dog trainer Ivan Balabanov. This advanced certification is more than just a credential—it’s a complete philosophy that helps dogs learn without fear, frustration, or confusion. This will give me even more skills and theory to add to my current experience. **My goal is to help you build a stronger, more rewarding bond with your dog—one that enriches your dog’s life and allows you to experience the full joy of a well-connected relationship.
✅ Clear Communication. Real Results.
Most dog behavior issues stem from miscommunication. My training approach is built around clarity and motivation, so your dog learns faster, responds more reliably, and stays engaged—because they want to, not because they’re forced to.
🐕 Customized for Your Dog—and Your Life
Whether your goal is to develop polite manners at home, achieve off-leash control, or lay the foundation for canine sports, I tailor every session to meet your dog’s needs and your lifestyle. I work with:
-
Puppies and first-time owners
-
Adult dogs needing obedience or a reset
🧠 Science-Based. Conflict-Free.
The Training Without Conflict® system is rooted in modern learning theory, not outdated dominance myths. You get methods that are effective, ethical, and emotionally safe for your dog.
❤️ Training That Builds Trust
I don’t just train your dog—I teach you how to confidently lead, communicate, and deepen your relationship with your dog. Great training doesn’t stop when the session ends.
